The battery is enclosed within the metal housing of the MOD. The battery is removable, but can be charged without removal by using the included USB cable.

I bought an eVic in a group buy, and I was one of the first people in the US to have one. I promptly put it together, booted it up, marvelled at the settings, and installed the software. It was great! Truly, the best honeymoon period I've had yet.

However...less than two months of use, and it fell apart. The cap, the bit with the 510 connection, popped off of the plastic section containing the screen. This is unacceptable. Furthermore, the threads were made of such soft metal that my SS-threaded Genesis completely shredded them in two weeks. Shortly, it was completely unusable, so I threw out the head and kept the tube. I intend to one day purchase another head, or maybe an "Easy Head" - but I know that in the meantime, I consider this a dud.

If it delivered more power than its pitiful 11 watt, 5 volt, 2.5 amp limitation, I would probably be more forgiving. In the meantime, this is just a big eGo Twist.

Cool, but fragile.

I picked mine up locally for under 100$. To be able to upgrade software is a beautiful thing. I run many tanks and never do I have to go over 7 watts to get a beautiful vape. Seems very accurate in auto recognizing the ohm of your atty. temp alarm, time and date, puff count, fully adjustable. You can invert the screen color for better night or day viewing. Battery last between two and three day. You can purchase different battery tubes to pimp it out to your liking.

The only con I have found is the temp alarm resets after you shut it down or put it in standby mode. I'm not sure if its all of them or just mine.

For the amount of things it can do, it is a great price! This battery can do just about anything and everything! There are two downsides for smokers like me: it only goes to 11 watts, and I usually vape around 12-13, and it is not very durable. You drop it and most likely it will be a goner. The screen is nice, but it can crack easily as well. It's a great device if you are very carefull with your ecigs, and prefer voltage over wattage!
