The South Beach Smoke Cartridge kit is similar in design and functionality to most other cartridge kits offered by other brands. It is often the case that companies selling similar cartridge kits are simply a rebranding of a product manufactured by the major Chinese manufacturers Kanger, Innokin, Joyetech, Vision, or SMOKTech. However, this is not generally seen as a problem because all of these manufacturers produce quality products that have allowed them to play the parts they do in the e-Cigarette market.

A few different kits are offered by South Beach Smoke, and the main difference between the kits is the number of replacement hardware pieces it contains. These kits contain an option of two sizes of Li-Ion batteries, replacement cartridges, and USB charger. South Beach Smoke also sells a PCC (portable charging case) for their cartridge kits. A PCC is a storage case, similar in size to a cigarette pack, which serves as a storage unit for batteries and cartridges. The PCC also contains an internal rechargeable battery which will charge the user’s e-Cig battery several times before having to be plugged in.

South Beach Smoke offers a variety of different e-Liquid flavors in their disposable cartridges. It is also unknown whether South Beach Smoke produces their own liquid or simply rebrands liquids made by another major manufacturer. Since nothing is said on their website about the development of their flavors it is most likely they are produced by a third party. It is stated however that their juices are made in the USA, but this statement has not been confirmed by VaporKnowledge staff.

With each cartridge, I felt like I was only getting part of the flavor because of the pervasive stale taste and chemical flavor notes. I honestly felt like a cigarette would've made me feel better after inhaling those horrible chemical tasting e-liquids. I was also disappointed by the vapor production; I usually expect a pretty healthy amount of vapor from a cig-a like, but I was unable to get more than a few faint clouds out of my South Beach Smoke review sample. The only exception for me was the chocolate flavor, which I thought was rather nice — but I usually prefer to recommend e-cigarettes based on their tobacco and menthol flavors.
My experience with South Beach Smoke was negative. My starter kit included two automatic batteries and I found the sensitivity level of each to be way too airy. When you draw air through the hole in the top of the cartridge, the battery turns on and generates vapor immediately. So, that’s definitely a plus.
In general, though, I unfortunately find South Beach Smoke to be a rather lackluster product for the price. At $59.99, I feel the Deluxe Starter Kit is priced about $15-20 too high to be competitive, but sadly some people are willing to pay that much for this mediocre item.

15-20$ too much.
