This review is for any Joyetech eGo kit (eGo, eGo-T, and eGo-C)
We are aware the Joyetech eGo starter kits come in three different models: eGo, eGo-T, and eGo-C. We have placed separate reviews for each of these atomizers in the Atomizer/cartomizer section of the site. Please review any Joyetech eGo kit here, and if you have something directly you want to say about one of those atomizer models please write a separate review for that specific device.
The Joyetech eGo kit was truly a trendsetter in the electronic cigarette world and is largely responsible for the design that is generally associated with a standard style personal vaping device. The name “eGo” was actually originally coined by Joyetech before it became a general descriptive name for similar devices made by other manufacturers.
Joyetech ran into many problems with counterfeit and knock-off designs used by other manufacturers and largely lost credit for their designs, and many users got negative impressions of the “eGo Kit” since, as Joyetech's eGo kits gained popularity, counterfeits became moreso the norm, rather than the exception. For this reason, in an attempt to reestablish their reputation, Joyetech upped their product branding, began restricting wholesale orders from business without a physical store-front, and redesigned their eGo kits. Be sure your kit looks like the one pictured before writing a review about it, since there are plenty of knock-offs out there.
The Joyetech eGo starter kits use a standard eGo battery and charger. The batteries come in multiple size and color options. The atomizers either do or do not have replaceable coils, depending on model. They use a plastic refillable tank which slides into the cone shaped base which contains the coil.
