Up for review is the SMOKTech Dual Coil Refillable Cartomizer. This cartomizer can be purchased with or without holes punched in the cylinder walls.

The cartos with holes punched in the walls are to be used in the SMOK Carto tanks, which allow the cartomizer to be slid into the center of the tank (using the cartomizer to vaporize the liquid, but allowing for the storage of extra liquid by utilizing a tank).

This carto is available in a variety of different resistance levels for differing vaper preferences. The Dual Coil Cartomizer can also be purchased with eGo or 510 threading – both can be seen in provided pictures. Also shown is a breakdown of the construction of the dual coil setup. The engineering of this unit includes a coil followed by a section of poly-fill followed by another coil, and then another section of poly-fill stuffing.

The myriad of different resistance levels are recommended to be used of different devices and voltage levels, so be sure to research thoroughly or ask your supplier which resistance level is correct for your device.

As a general rule, higher voltage devices should be used to power higher resistance atomizers. If using these cartos with a standard 3.7V eGo style battery, it will be best to go with the 1.5 ohm coils. The 1.25 ohm cartos should be used around 3.7V, but must be used on a high capacity mod to avoid battery overheating.
