There's been a lot of hype about Kanger's new, smaller, all Pyrex & Metal tank. This clearomizer is, basically, a miniture version of the ProTank II.

This glass tank clearomizer takes after its bigger brother in design and functionality, but differs in a few key ways. The Mini ProTank is smaller in size, weighing in at 1.2 mL capacity, as opposed to the beefier ProTank capacity of 2.5 mL.

The Mini ProTank also uses eGo style threading, rather than the 510 threaded base of the classic ProTank. This threading design is similar to the Evod threading – it screws to the outside threads of an eGo battery rather than the smaller inside thread. This setup may restrict it from being used on some mod devices, but you can always purchase a eGo to 510 threading adapter.

I was using plastic clearomizers and wanted a pyrex tank as there were alot of liquids I wanted to try that are said to crack tanks. I had a few that clouded my plastic tanks. I did a lot of research on-line and the Pro Tank Mini sounded like the best bet as I did not want a large tank on an eGo battery. I found a B&M and was able to look at a variety of tanks. I came home with the Kanger Mini Pro Tank II and love it! Here is a review I included on my blog

Normally I would be reluctant to post such high ratings, but this tank is worth it.. I just received my Protank mini 2 (version 2; removable drip tip) and it is amazing! Being glass, it can handle my more harsh juices yet the glass feels sturdy.

The entire atomizer actually feels rather solid, the metal is a bit further out than the glass so it is more likely to contact a surface before the glass, should you drop it. You can replace the glass tank, the drip tip, and the coils. Honestly, if the items were available from the vendor, you could replace any part of this atomizer.

When I first got the atomizer, I noticed it was rather heavy so I would suggest you don't stand the battery up with the atomizer on it unless you have an actual stand. The atomizer wicks almost instantly and it produces a lot of vapor. The draw is a bit airy, but that doesn't mean I'm deluding the vapor with air, it just means I've got more vapor I can draw because it wicks it that fast.

Overall, this is the best vape I've experienced to date and I'm a believe now. I will never cringe at anything Protank because now I understand...

I don't have too much experience with the Mini Protank as I have the larger tanks. I have used the mini to sample juices at a B&M that is close to me. They have all of their flavors filled up in the minis and have sanitary disposable sleeves that you put over the tips in order to taste their juices. I found the vapor production to be that of the full sized version. It didn't seem to leak, and after many people sampling the juices, they seemed to last even their small size. The look of them works well with the smaller batteries so if you are going for something discrete and you don’t want to compromise flavor and ease of use, the mini Protank would be for you. Myself, I like to have a larger tank to hold more liquid so I will stick with the full sized versions.

I actually prefer the Mini ProTanks over the regular ProTanks, they hit just as well, and they're not as bulky. They're made out of Pyrex glass, so you don't have to worry about cracking issues that some flavors cause. The II can be taken completely apart for easier cleaning. They're pretty cheap too, 12-15 bucks is a pretty good deal for a tank you're not going to have to replace for a long time.

This tank was part of my first vape-setup ever. I went with the Mini Protank kit from www.vapedojo.com, which came with two of these buggers.

From a novice perspective, it's phenomenal. It's simple to fill, the heads are easy to replace, and it's easy to screw onto a battery; additionally, it also produces some pretty great vapor! Now I'll be frank... it wasn't until I switched the head from ~2.5ohm to 1.8ohm that my flavor/vapor production increased quite substantially, but that isn't too say I wasn't please originally!

My only concern, which I realize the Mini Protank II mitigates for the most part, is ease of cleaning. Only the base and the head come apart, leaving the glass and drip tip all in one piece. Nevertheless, soaking it in some vodka for a few hours certainly does the trick (when you'd like to switch juices, for example).

Lastly, it's of course made of glass, which means acidic juices won't crack or cloud it. I mean, really, how much more could you ask for in a clearomizer?

All-in-all... very happy. Granted, my experience is somewhat limited, but it's no fluke that they're very popular!

After a few reviews on here, I realized I have spent way too much on E-cig stuff.

This tank is great. I prefer the look on this one especially when on a eGo or a EVOD batt. The tank itself is good quality, and can be used with any juices, including the tank crackers.

Build: Solid, just like all the Protank models. The glass makes it nice addition to your soon to be massively growing collection.

Looks: Nice sleek, and slim profile. If the Protank 2 is a beast, than the mini is the princess. Slim, sleek, and can be carried anywhere, be it a building, cave, mountain, etc.

The vapor production is good. Depending on what replacement head you use, it can be a bit airy. But its okay.

Price: A bit pricier than other tanks, especially for the capacity you are getting. But quality will always trump price.

Only problem I have is that I can vape through 1.2ml of juice in half a day.

This little brother to the Pro Tank II comes with all the same improvements from the original Pro Tank, in a slimmer profile. The rubber seals instead of glue gets rid of the pesky problem of leaks after prolonged use. The tank is fully deconstructable for cleaning and hits like Mike Tyson. The glass tank is a great step up for those who want to vape all those crazy flavors without worrying about their tanks cracking. This is a buy you wont regret.

I have owned a couple Protank Minis (version 1) for the past few weeks and I thoroughly enjoy them. This clearomizer is built very well since it contains pyrex glass and metals, and looks really nice to boot. Also because of it being made with pyrex glass you don't have to worry which juices you put in them, they won't crack the tank so no worries there. It fits perfectly with my Ego batteries and on my iTaste MVP as well and looks just as good on both. I have had no issues with it leaking, flooding, or any issues at all aside from they are a bit hard to completely clean.

I have noticed a build up of gunk at the top where the tip and glass meet and I cannot figure out how to clean that out, maybe if I soak them in vodka or some other solution? Haven't tried yet but that's the only reason I dinged it half a point on the build quality. Now version 2 is out and about and even another version of it with a removable tip in the future so I'm sure they will be easier to clean as they come completely apart, and I will likely buy a couple when those removable tip ones are out. I dinged it half a point on looks only because the bottom piece that screws the clearomizer onto the battery isn't the same color of metal as the rest of it so it kinda doesn't match, but it's a very petty complaint it still looks very nice. The price is pretty spot on, you are getting a very solid product for not much money.

All in all I highly recommend these, they are a big improvement from the EVOD tanks I was using before in the looks and build quality department.
