The Evod is a bottom fed tank atomizer designed and produced by SZ Kanger in China.

Note: This review is for the Kanger Evod Clearomizer/Atomizer. If you would like to review the Kanger Evod Battery, please check out the battery page.

This atomizer is a follow-up to the Kanger MT3. The Evod electronic cigarette clearomizer features replaceable atomizer heads as a cheap alternative to replacing the entire system.

This unit attaches to the outer cone threads of an eGo battery and is not 510 threaded. A 510 to eGo adapter can be used to attach this atomizer to a MOD or any battery which is non-eGo type.

This atomizer is filled by unscrewing the bottom metal piece (which is also the head/burner/coil), and filling the tank with e-Liquid, making sure to not drip the juice inside the middle inner tube (which will not damage the device, only flood it). The Kanger bottom fed tanks allow you to replace the coil without having to empty the liquid.

I am not a fan of these. They start gurgling and leaking almost immediately. Price is too high for quality.

New to the vape scene. Started earlier last week and I had bought this starter kit from (Edit: web address removed by moderator) got a decent price and was so impressed with the product that I went ahead and ordered the protank withing my first 3 days with the product. Very simple to use, clean. and maintain. Simple fill and vape. Super simple assembly on all parts and just a truly great starting product in my honest opinion. Great with a heavier VG blend. Enjoying some 60/40 Redbull currently!!

I wanted to see what all of the hoopla was about with the bottom coil tanks, and didn't have the cash for an expensive tank. I chose this beauty to try. It looks great, and produces loads of vapor. I use it on my ego twist, and it fits perfectly!

The only downside is that I cant really see through the little slots provided how full it is. It's a little hard to see, in my opinion.

It's inexpensive, a nice sturdy one piece design, great for starting out with a bottom coil tank. I would buy again!

These are good. Very good.

I had a stainless steel one to go with my 650mAh Kanger eGos, and together, they look fab! They're easy to fill, they're great on the go, and they're very well priced (if you search around, of course).

And if you're a simultaneous [Mini] Protank user, they all use the same heads! How awesome is that? I personally prefer 1.8ohm heads, as they produce a warmer vape and more vapor, but your mileage may vary.

The build quality is pretty darn good. I dropped mine once or twice, but it was still solid! The only downside I can think to these is that the tanks are made of plastic, which makes them prone to cracking and clouding from acidic juices. I never experienced it myself, but it happens apparently, so be weary.

Another downside is that the drip tip isn't removable. Beginners probably won't care that much, but for advanced users, it can be meh. But then again, what're you using an EVOD for Mr. Advanced User!? Oh, and I've seen reports of leaking, but I most certainly never had any issues.

I surely recommend them. They're well made, have replaceable [and rebuildable] heads, look good, and can be found for pretty darn cheap (less than $5).

These little tanks are great for vaping on the go, and with the EVOD battery it also looks pretty slick. They produce a strong cloud out of the box and, with regular cleanings and dry burns, the coil lasts much longer than the price tag would lead you to believe. Just make sure to carry a couple if you're prone to chain vaping.

Extremely cheap, when this tank can be had for as little as $7. Good vapor production and a great tank for beginners and the experienced alike. The tank seems to leak after a long use.

I just wish the drip tip was removable.

Evod are great little tanks. The bottom coils (which are replaceable, or can be rebuilt) are awesome for flavor and vape production. I also like the ease of the draw on them. I wouldn’t say airy but natural feeling. The tanks themselves are a little small and it can be hard to see how much is left because of the small windows, so if you chain vape, you will need to fill this often. I like the base on this as you don’t need a stabilizer ring for the eGo threading, though I believe the base is what compromises the size of the tank. Overall I think Kanger is doing a great job of building tanks and coils that are changing the way people vape. Now, the coils are interchangeable for the Protank and the Evod. If you haven’t tried the bottom feeder coils yet, I highly recommend picking up an Evod.

I love my eVod. I pair it with a mini eGo and take it just about everywhere with me - while the capacity is low, it's certainly not unmanageable, and it gives a great vape. The vapor production is pretty high (but shockingly so for such a small device) - however, I have found that switching the heads for either rebuilt ProTank heads or stock ProTank heads was a massive improvement. That allows for an easier draw, more vapor, and if you build your own heads, much better flavor (depending on your wick material and build technique). I recommend Ekowool 2mm to build ProTank heads.

In any case, I definitely recommend picking one or two of these up. They are the perfect travel atomizer, and are, in my experience, leakproof. Unlike the first-generation T3, they don't flood when they run low on liquid, meaning they provide a great vape all the way from full, to empty.

This is an awesome little starter tank. This tank was my first and I loved it, great little device and still use it from time to time. Out of the package I did notice leaking occasionally with certain juices and some gurgling. I have since rebuilt my coils using Ekowool and I no longer have that problem.

The 1 downside is it has a plastic tank so watch for tank crackers. I am pretty sure my tank is cracked but it really hasn't caused me any trouble it just barley seeps and I think the metal shell around the plastic tank is to thank for that. I have since made a step up to a Protank and after getting used to the airiness of the Protank the EVOD seems to tight of a draw.

Pair this with an ego-c twist and a charger and you have a perfect little starter kit that is both very useful and visually appealing
