The iClear 16 is a classic C4 style atomizer made by Innokin. Note that this review is for the replaceable coil version of the iClear 16.

This atomizer utilizes a dual coil with a replaceable coil head. This atomizer is always labeled as "iClear 16" on the lower metal sleeve.

To determine if your iClear 16 electronic cigarette clearomizer is a removable coil or not, simply try to screw off the bottom metal piece that connects to the plastic tank. If the bottom unscrews (make sure to drain your e-juice first, or it'll end up all over you), then you have a removable coil iClear 16. If the bottom does not unscrew, since it's glued into place, versus threaded into place, then you have a non-removable coil iClear 16.

The iClear 16s are great. And they're great for mainly one sole reason: Because of their performance-to-price ratio.

You can grab these for about 3 bucks a pop, have a slew of them with different juices, and switch 'em all between your batteries for a great vape session. There's a reason there's an iTaste V3 kit that includes 5 of them... and that's because they're good!

Now are they Protank good? Some would argue so, but I'd imagine most people would argue no. Will they crack/cloud from acidic juices? Quite likely due to their plastic composition, but I haven't tested it myself. But do they provide a solid, warm vape with good flavor? Definitely!

Likewise, you can find the tanks in all sorts of colors, which is great for mixing and matching your setup. And with replaceable heads, this makes them a great buy!

One thing worth mentioning is that you'll probably go through a lot of juice with these, due to their wicking style (nothing particularly drastic, just somewhat noticeable)... but stock up on some juice and you won't have a problem!

Anywho, I always keep a couple on me (in my travel kit, at least), so I definitely recommend them.

iClears will leak. They aren’t my usual and I haven’t used them for any long amount of time, but my experience was a wet and sticky one. It’s got good vapor production and excellent taste, and it looks pretty good on an ego or a box mod, but it’ll leak and flood in your pocket. For the price, it’s very good. Replacement coils are easy and cheap to buy, and the long wicks seem to help it do its thing, but they also seem to use up juice a lot faster than some clearos. As long as you don’t mind going through a little more juice, it’s fine. It’s plastic, so some juices will crack it, but at its price, that might seem negligible for some people. The price also makes it convenient to buy a lot of them if you like to keep a lot of filled clearos around for different flavors. It’s worth what you pay for it.

I have purchased and used about three of these clearomizers.

The OHM of the heads used were 2.4 and 2.8

This device is a great go to clearomizer for beginner and advanced vapors alike.
The vapor production is about 4/5 and is a nice, flavorful, warm vapor.

The heads lasted about two to three weeks, vaping a 50/50 blend.

This not my favorite clearomizer, but for the price, it is excellent.

I got 2 of these with my ego-c passthrough battery starter kit. Didn't really know what to expect as I had only tried Blu & cig-a-likes up until this point. I love them! They aren't high maintenance, if they start tasting funny you just replace the coil & boom! like new again. Sometimes there's slight gurgling or popping when you take a vape, I like this, reminds me of the feel of tobacco burning in the analogs I use to smoke. I haven't experienced any cracking of the tank & have only seen a slight cloudiness from my cinnamon liquid. I've tried the EVOD, DCT, & Kanger T3S tanks & still prefer the iclear 16's because they don't leak nearly as often. These are top coil/wicks & the little silicone cap that fits tends to make a pretty decent seal if the tank happens to turn upside down or gets laid on it's side. I have about 15 of these beauties now & would recommend them for anyone on the go or just starting out!

I got two of these with my iTaste MVP kit and could not have asked for a better clearomizer. It wicks well, allows great vapor production, barely leaks, and therefore is a great step up from ce4's and ce5's. However, I've noticed this has sucked more juice than any other clearomizer I've used...like it's unreal how much I will find myself refilled this. It's something worth noting, but the sacrifice is justified.

Lightweight executive vape out on the market. Switched out wicks to the four thick, for better draw of juice and since the 8 wick was caramelizing my juice faster. I'm a lightweight too (12 ml) so this was the perfect match for me. Fits right in my pocket and easy to hold. BTW e-Likwids Brand e-Liquid is the best e juice I found and is an American manufactured juice, made in West Palm Beach, Florida :) high-quality, USA Made e-Liquid, then e-Likwid will be the brand you want.

For the price and vapor production, I love the iClear 16. It's what I started on, and it will always have a soft place in my heart.

Buuuuut it leaks. If you leave an iClear sideways on a table, it'll gurgle and flood after a couple minutes. Same goes if you leave it on your battery in your pocket. It's not a pretty scene.

But, for less than a $8, it's a great little clearomizer for home use. I wouldn't recommend taking it out for a night on the town, however.

I get an excellent flavor out of some juices in this, though. Perhaps it's the long wick? I dunno.
