Joyetech set an industry standard with their eGo batteries. What makes the C series unique?

Above and beyond the Joyetech eGo-T battery, the eGo-C displays color notification when the battery begins to lose charge. Joyetech also claims that it has improved the eGo-T's:

  • Short circuit protection
  • Over discharge protection
  • Overcharge protection

compared to their eGo-C battery (that seems like a recipe for a lawsuit, to me). This battery is sold in multiple mAh capacities.

It is also available as a pass-through (which means a mini USB port is on the bottom of battery, so you can vape while the battery charges) or non-passthrough (uses a standard eGo-style charger) – both are reviewed here together, so please note which one you have.

This battery is just like the twist but non variable voltage. This is a fantastic battery for a beginner its just simple put your cart, clearo, RDA, RBA on and push the button. Its a great battery for learning.

Without variable voltage I find this actually works really well it keeps the voltage in a nice area for the 1.8 - 2.5 ohm coils I run without any burning. Its a little lighter vape compared to say my twist or my SVD but its a fantastic beginner or backup device.

I could not be happier and will probably buy one of these for my dad to start out with.

Ok so here we have the Joyetech eGo-C Battery, this little guy depending on the Mah you select (650, 900, or 1000 mAh (Li-Ion) think of the sizes like battery size the bigger the number the longer it last and the bigger the physical unit gets) can last most of the day (again depending on how much you use it) this style of battery is tried and true and is a leader in sales it is not a bad way to vape on the go.

this aside I would spend a few more bucks and get the Ego C Twist if money is not an option.

Build Quality- Awesome it is built to last, I have several of these floating around ranging from my desk to my car to my nightstand I have dropped them in a pool and survived the occasional coffee spill. this to me is a big plus I am rough with my Cigs its nice to not have to worry to much about being a clutz.

Looks- well depending again on which size you buy this is a pretty concealable vape option, put a cone on it and voila it is pretty sleek looking there are a couple of color options and some people make skins for these it is easy to make yours personal. but the standard is not too stylish.

Life- Ok I will level with you the life is the best out of any I could recommend to you, I have never ever had a Ego Battery die. not once in two years and I have used the day lights out of them believe me. I just charged one I had (A 650mah) that I first bought 2 years ago and it still works like a champ.

Price- You cannot go wrong with one of these but as I said before if money isn't a option but a Ego-C twist it really is worth the extra couple of bucks but keep some of these around as spares. If money is tight then this is the way to go

After getting sick of ego knockoff's I ended up buying one of these. It is a great battery and is a good battery to keep on the go. I haven't had a problem with this compared to the knockoff's.

The build was expected, supporting a 510 and (duh) ego connection. I had one 650mAh without a passthrough, but had a passthrough ego-c+ later. I would definitely recommend the passthrough version over what I had.

The battery life is good. It takes about 2 hours to fully charge this and I can get through the whole day without having to worry about it dying on me.

For the price you're paying I would tell anybody that they should spend the extra money and get either an ego-t, ego-c+, or shell out more money and get a box mod like the iTaste MVP. However for those that like the simplicity of this battery, go for it!

Reputable, good, but not versatile.

This was my first battery that I had purchased when I started vaping. I was advised to buy this battery because it was known as a great beginner battery. Well the first week of vaping with this battery, it was working flawlessly and It was holding a charge with no issues. Two weeks later though, I accidentally stepped on this battery on concrete, and when I tried to turn it on again, it would not work. I tried charging it but it was not holding a a charge. I was disappointed, but I just disregarded that battery and left it alone for a week or so. Well when I saw this battery again, I said "Let me try to charge it again, and lets see what happens" and what do you know, it charged! After a couple hours, I attached my clearomizer and it worked perfectly! I have no problems at all with it since then, and it still holds a charge perfectly. I recommend this battery to any beginners who are looking to vape!

These are great batteries if you don't want to mess around with VV batteries like the Twist, and they're my go to suggestion for beginners. Battery life is very good on the larger models, but still nothing to scoff at on the 650mah, which can get me through a day of casual vaping. They last months before the charge quality starts to fail.

For a beginner, these are the perfect go to battery.
For those looking to move up or get more out of their clearomizers, I recommmend upgrading to the Twist model of these batteries.

The output of these batteries is 3.7 Volts, which is great for 1.8 ohm heads.

The charge time on a 650mah battery is about 1-3 hours, and last about a day worth of vaping.

If you have the extra 10 or so dollars, buy the twist and enjoy perfection.

Love this battery! I have had Joyetech ego-c passthrough batteries for as long as I've been vaping. They're sturdy, fit nicely in your pocket or bag, have a great battery life, I get around 8 hours of vaping time, and the best part is you can use them while they're charging. The outer shell is made of sturdy metal & unless you're planning on running over it with heavy equipment will pretty well stand up to as many waist high drops as you can put it through in a day. Great value, the cost runs you about 15-25 bucks depending on where you get it from & it lasts many months longer than the same amount of analogs (tobacco cigarettes) would, plus they don't stink when you vape them! The only downsize is the voltage and wattage aren't adjustable, but if you're just starting out as a vaper, or enjoy liquids that vape well at this voltage, like I do, then this is the battery for you!

I have been using this particular battery since January 2013, so far it has given me the most consistant usage out of all of the ones I've tried. It is easy to charge and holds a charge for me for about 24 hours of heavy vaping. I have tried others but they seem to wear out a lot quicker. It has a sleek design.
