This battery has proven to be an amazingly versatile piece of equipment. The ability to simultaneously vape and charge a phone is not to be taken lightly.

The MVP battery is a little over an inch and a half wide, less than an inch thick, and a little over four inches tall.

This battery has a capacity of 2600 mAh, and has USB, mini USB, and micro USB ports on the bottom which allow it to be used as a storage device to charge other electronics. To put this into reference, an iPhone 5 is 1440 mAh. You can take an iPhone 5 from a 0% charge to a 100% charge close to twice with this nifty electronic cigarette battery.

The battery cells are contained in a sealed case. This case has an on/off switch, which has a tri-color backlit LCD light display that notifies the user of available battery power left. It goes from

  1. Green (100% charge to 50% charge)
  2. Yellow (50% charge - 20% charge)
  3. Red (less than 20% charge left in the battery)

It also contains an LCD screen on the side of the battery which displays the selected voltage and the number of puffs taken since the unit was last powered on. The threading for the atomizer contains both eGo and 510 connections.

This battery comes with a multi-tipped charger which allows you to either charge your MVP battery, OR charge other devices from your MVP battery. At the bottom of the MVP is an "ON/OFF" switch. There's also a full-sized USB port at the bottom of the MVP. If you turn the switch to "ON", then the MVP will charge any USB-powered device that is hooked into its USB port. How nifty is that?

The charging cable that comes with the kit has a full-sized USB port on one end; on the other end is a selection of 3 outputs. There is a choice of a iPhone 4/4S adaptor, a mini USB adaptor, and a micro USB adaptor. To have this make much more sense, check out the photos attached to this electronic cigarette battery review. This cable serves the dual purpose of working either to charge devices from the Innokin MVP battery, or to charge the MVP itself.

The Innokin iTaste MVP is available in three color options:

  • Carbon Black
  • Rugged Steel
  • Titanium Blue

This is my first experience beyond the eGo batteries. The battery life is amazing. Chain vaping it will still last 2-3 days. It is a VV battery so you can adjust to the different tanks and e-juice that you have on it. I don't have a voltage meter, but from what I have seen on other reviews, the MVP is pretty close to what it displays, which is good to know. It is really solidly built. I have dropped it a few times *shame* but it is still kicking. There are a lot of wraps out there that can make it more aesthetically pleasing to cover any nicks and scrapes. My main issue is the center pin. I got a Protank very quickly after getting my MVP as I didn't like the iClear30 that came with it that much. My Protank worked for a little while with my MVP but then the base on the Protank broke. I got a new base but it no longer worked on my MVP. I found the center pin is very picky. I got a 510 to eGo adaptor in order to use my Protanks on it. I need to use the adapter for a lot of my tanks now. The best tank that always works without the adapter is the Evod. I am hoping the MVP 2 addresses the issues with the center pin, otherwise it is a great battery that is durable and lasts a long time.

Build Quality: Really good quality. Tough little guy! Dropped it once on accident and made it through without a hitch!

Looks: Not really the best looking with the bulky square, but isn't an eye sore.

Life: Great battery life, I can vape for 2 to 4 days, even through the heavy vaping.

Price: Can get pricey for the device. (Edit:Web address removed by moderator) has this for a bit cheaper.

If you don’t care about having something cylindrical, the iTaste MVP is the place to start. If you’ve only been on cylindrical batteries before, it can take a while to get used to using a box mod, but the MVP’s got rounded edges, so it won’t dig into your hand, and you get used to it. Battery life is amazing and can last days even with chain vaping. It’s a pass-through, so you can charge it while you use it. It can be expensive, but it’s all dependent on what site or B&M you buy from; it goes as low as forty-five on some sites. It holds up to some rough treatment, and it’s battery life doesn’t degrade like cheap ego clones. It’s worth saving up for. The buttons feel sturdy. It’s variable voltage, from 3.5 to 5.0, so you can get the best possible use from any clearo or carto you want to put on it.

This iTaste totally deserves the word "MVP" in its title. This thing is such a beast! I had one of these MVP's a couple months ago, and I use it whenever I just stay at home and just want to lay back and vape. The best thing I like about the MVP is the battery life. This thing rarely runs out of battery for me, and I use it a lot. Unlike other batteries where I would constantly run out of battery daily, this thing can go three days to a week before I have to charge again! I can also charge my phone with this, I mean what else can I ask for from a battery like this! I would recommend this to anybody that is into vaping, even beginners, because this works flawlessly and is not that hard to use! As for the looks, it is pretty bulky, but I use this only at home so it does not really matter, and the build quality and price is great for something like the MVP. Get this!

Just let me start by saying this device belongs in the Mods category, hands down. Apart from that tho, this thing changed my life, i skipped over all the other batteries and mods and with the help of r/electronic_cigarette at reddit picked this baby up from a Local B&M and i mean WOW. First off the batter life alone on this is amazing, i used it for 3 days right out of the box without charging, and since its full pass-through i was able to vape on it while it was charging, Nice. the VV is perfect for really dialing in on a flavor, and although the puff counter seems kind of ridiculous its let me know to slow down when i've been drinking with friends, a vape hangover is the worst. i've thrown a half dozen different typed of tanks/atomozers at it already and its hit the mark ever time, do yourself a favor if your thinking about getting into vaping and skip over the lower end stuff and start out with one of these. Also, you can charge your phone with this thing!

I absolutely love my iTaste MVP. It was the first battery that I bought after my ego died on me and I don't see myself needing another anytime soon. The battery life is fantastic. I can chain vape all day without even getting to the yellow light battery warning. It takes a little bit of getting used to moving from an ego style battery to a box mod but once you get the hang of it it feels really nice in your hand. The price is pretty much unbeatable, I got mine for something like $45. Plus now with the MVP 2.0 out you have the option of a variable wattage mod with an ohm reader and all that goodness. All in all 5/5 for the MVP

This thing is an absolute beast! Phone charger and vape all in one. This has saved my phone from dying many times. Other than the phone charger, this is a great product. It is a little pricey, however it is worth every penny. The variable voltage goes from 3.3-5.0, and also hows a counter that shows how many hits you have taken. all of the buttons on the device are sturdy and click-y. I would recommend for people who want a pretty dang useful e-cig.

I recently got an iTaste SVD, only used Ego C Twist batteries up until that time which are also great little devices, but this thing is just worlds better! I was first amazed at how compact it was for a box mod, I thought it would be much larger but it's actually quite compact even with my small hands. You can also tell that it's very high quality in build, it's just very solid, everything from the material it's made out of, the bright and useful LCD screen, and the firing button. Innokin really put a lot of thought and care into building a good solid product and they definitely did it with the iTaste MVP.

You can adjust the voltage up to 5.0 volts which is plenty of power, you can make clouds with this thing easily. The voltage is adjustable by using the nice buttons next to the LCD screen and works very well, and there is also a puff counter which isn't really all that useful but kinda cool I guess to compare how much you vape with your buddies. The 2600mah battery lasts a very long time, as I found out this last holiday weekend I can actually go an entire 3 day weekend vaping like crazy and it still didn't run out of charge, it's crazy! In comparison my Ego 1100mah batteries would need charged daily. Also it's nice that if you want you can use the USB output connector on the bottom of it to charge other USB devices like your phones etc, very handy.

All in all this thing is a perfect device for myself and I'm sure many people will feel the same. I cannot find anything I don't like about it, highly recommended!

This is an awesome VV battery. The look and build absolutely justify how solid this thing is built.

I was at an outdoor concert when a gigantic rainstorm rolled through. I put this in my backpack, along with my camera and phone, only to find out later that everything I had completely water damaged and would not work...except the MVP. This has been used and abused, yet it's still holding up after all of that.

The battery led indicators are a nice thing to have. Green indicating full charge, yellow showing low, and red being extremely low. It's nice having that warning.

The USB output on the bottom is EXTREMELY useful for me. I go to a lot of music festivals and usually use knockoff ego's on the go. With this I don't have to run back to my car to let my ego charge, it can sit in my backpack and charge the whole time.

All in all, It's an awesome piece of equipment.

The looks. THE LOOKS. This thing looks like a tazer. I rated the looks as a '5', but this is entirely subjective. Some people hate the design of this thing - it's def a polarizing battery/mod.

I've had mine for ~4 or 5 months, and the metal piece that has the threading on it will slightly rock back and forth in the base. Other than this issue (which causes the occasional clearo to not work), it's been a steady workhorse in my e-cig rotation.
